Who runs it: Student Transportation Services Brant Haldimand Norfolk (STSBHN), owned by the board with Grand Erie DSB and Conseil scolaire MonAvenir; routes and delays on stsbhn.ca
Who qualifies: Registered students living beyond the walking distance for their school: 1.4 km for elementary and 3.2 km for secondary in urban areas, 0.8 km in rural areas, measured by STSBHN's software
Hazardous routes: A walking route STSBHN judges hazardous can qualify a student inside the walk zone; decisions rest with the superintendent
Special education: Approved by the superintendent responsible for special education; central pick-up and transfer points are used on some routes
Courtesy riders: A student outside the rules may be given an empty seat for the current year only; the board can withdraw service at any time
