School buses and admission
Admission à nos écoles and transport scolaire, csfy.ca ↗- Who runs it
- The Yukon Department of Education and its contractor Standard Bus Yukon; CSFY students ride the Whitehorse routes with everyone else
- Who qualifies
- Students who live more than 3.2 km by road from their school; École Émilie-Tremblay and CSSC Mercier serve the whole territory, so most Whitehorse families qualify
- Register
- Online every year through the Department's BusPlanner form, one form per household, by July 1
- Routes
- Several of the 42 Whitehorse routes serve Émilie-Tremblay and CSSC Mercier from Takhini, Whistle Bend, Range Road, Copper Ridge, Porter Creek and Riverdale; route sheets are posted each August
- Changes
- Since November 2025 students must ride their assigned bus and stop; permanent changes go through a new Department registration, emergencies through the school office
- Admission
- Open to children of rights-holders under section 23 of the Charter and, by admission committee, to other francophone and francophile families
